Seaside Lights, acrylic on canvas by Cindy Thornton.
Seaside lights
I am a self-representing artist currently residing at sunny (and stormy) central Florida, with my husband and two children. I received my associates degree in studio art in 1997. I enjoy photography, graphic arts, and drawing, but found the messiness of painting to be the most fun. My subjects tend to be the everyday with a touch of whimsy. If I had to sum up what my art is about, I would say it's art dedicated to the young at heart.

Marina Zavalova

Mountain Man, oil on board by Marina Zavalova.
Mountain man
An accomplished artist, Marina is driven by her passion to paint in the outdoors. Like the Russian impressionists who inspired her, she tries to chase and capture the light and moment of beauty in every piece she creates. The end result are highly colorful pieces with bold application of paint that are filled with emotion.

Thomas Clements

Molly, oil on panel by Thomas Clements.
Molly
My work takes many different forms, but the underlying content, is often the same. For me this is what creativity is all about, form arises from the dictates of inspiration. Content is the essence of art, and form is a vehicle to serve expression. To serve that expression, form must bend to the ever changing demands of creativity.
